Michaël Verheyden (1978) is a Belgium based designer. Passionate about rock music, but probably also inspired by silence, he creates fashion accessories and home objects. Michaël Verheyden graduated as an Industrial Designer in 2001. Before starting his own design label, he worked together with, among others, fashion designer Raf Simons. Raf Simons coached Michaël Verheyden's graduation project and commissioned him to make a series of leather bags for his summer 2003 collection. Although Michaël and Saartje mainly focus on the production of the accessories and home collection, they also create art installations, design exhibitions, interiors and furniture. |
